Greetings Cast Members!

With the game growing and changing as well as it is, I feel its time to do as Disney himself would do-change for the better. Now, originally I (Moony) did not expect this game to grow beyond fifteen maaaybe twenty-five characters. As we approach the year anniversary we are much closer to fifty! I am beyond grateful to every single one of you for picking this little part of the internet to explore.

That said though, a lot of the original mechanics are no longer viable! The game will still continue running as usual, but there are changes on the horizon. Mainly backstage but some of our attractions will also have several refurbishments done.

The first attractions will be the Missions. We will be be expanding the amount of Corroded Missions for the next few lands as well as adding extensions to the lands themselves. These will include, but not be limited to, Thunder Mesa, Port Discovery, The Lost River Delta and Buena Vista Street. We will also be adding "Daily Missions" (uh title is still in the works ^^;) to allow for a more consistent way to earn Sparks (and munnies). This will make Corroded Missions more difficult but taking Daily Missions allow you to build up the needed sparks to balance things out!

Job listings will also get an upgrade, with job listings for Tiki Oasis being added as well as a separate page being added for character run businesses. These will cost money and will positively affect the reputation of Apprentices.

Which leads to something returning! Tiki Barker Bird will make a return (unlike in the parks...) and will make announcements once a week- which include how the locals and refugees feel about the apprentices.

The final will be a brand new attraction- an archive in each un-Corroded land. This will allow the less fight inclined characters a chance to obtain sparks by retrieving lore and various bits of information to build up the story behind Magic Kingdoms.

Currently I am going through and updating the FAQ to fit with new mechanics, I will post when that is done on a separate announcement and on the mod plurk.

Please post any questions or concerns! They really do help me sort through what I need to explain or what might not be viable. Remember, to all who come to this happy place, welcome. As Walt said, Disneyland is your land and so is Magic Kingdoms. Like it's inspiration, SMK is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have made RP a fun and wonderful hobby for everyone...and continues with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all of you.
